Your Choice: Traditionally Men Lead & Women Follow but that’s old school. You decide which role you want to do.
Level 4 Salsa is for experienced students who have completed Level 3 and are ready to work with advanced material, increased complexity, and deeper musical interpretation. A partner is not required, and classes are taught in a fun, friendly and easy going environment with clear, step by step instruction. If you do not enjoy the course, we offer a money back guarantee.
To join Level 4, students must have completed Level 3 Salsa and be competent in all Level 3 material. This includes complicated variations of right and left turns, cross body lead variations, enchufla variations, travelling turns, wraps, copas, enroscas, interrupted turns, advanced styling elements, and structured shines, all danced with strong timing, rhythm, balance and partner connection.
Level 4 focuses on refining technique while significantly increasing complexity, flow and musical awareness. At this level, patterns become more layered, turns progress into controlled double and triple spins, and movements are chosen to clearly match different moments within the music rather than being danced continuously.
The course covers advanced partnerwork and concepts including dips, single and double check turns, touch and go turns, 360 degree collects, double right turns, copa variations, lead turning patterns, lead hand patterns, Angel with flare, Shake n Bake, 3 Sisters with variations, barrel rolls, windmills and interrupted turn variations. Shines are also introduced for mambo sections of the music with a focus on clarity, control and musical timing.
Level 4 is about precision, control and musical decision making. Leaders develop clearer intention and direction, while followers refine responsiveness, balance and styling so movement feels deliberate and connected rather than rushed.
